FilmLight, founded in 2002, develops unique colour grading systems, image processing applications and workflow tools that are transforming film and video post-production and setting new standards for quality, reliability and performance.
Nara was born from years of helping customers across the global post-production industry to make the most beautiful images.
But no matter the quality of the work produced, the facilities all struggled with the same issues: accessing media securely across a swathe of storage pools, and being able to review those assets easily and with the highest colour accuracy.
We realised that we were uniquely placed to solve these issues, and we already had a head-start on the solution. Baselight – FilmLight’s renowned colour grading system – already supports the widest range of codecs and file formats in the industry, and the team behind it are well-regarded as leaders in colour science.
